Nice to meet you, Launch NY

When people ask me how the new venture is going I often use the analogy of being the Captain of a large ship in the middle of the ocean. It's required a constant juggling of the sails, steering wheel, tips & turns, shifting priorities from long-term to survival, and staying confident that our destination is ahead..somewhere. Some days I know exactly how to get there; the map is clear and the skies are sunny. Other days the waters are rough and direction is unclear.

The sky was sunny the day our application was accepted into Launch NY. Since then, I've been working 1-on-1 with a mentor who has been a fantastic backboard, at the very least. Having her experience, insight and network on my team has listed a huge weight off my shoulders. Launch NY even decided to feature us in their August 1 newsletter.

So grateful for all of the people that have played a role to helping me navigate these waters and continue to bring sunshine to this journey; I wouldn't have gotten this far without their support, open-minds and enthusiasm. One milestone at a time.
